# LIFE – Regione Liguria “SMILE – Strategies for MarIne Litter and Environmental” prevention of sea pollution in coastal areas. It is a project funded by the EU Life program 2013-2016. It aims to reduce marine debris in coastal areas. The presence of waste in coastal and marine areas is first of all an environmental problem as they can endangering the balance of ecosystems and species that they inhabit. The state of our environment depend on many important aspects of our lives such as health, quality of life, local economy. SMILE involves the municipalities of Pietra Ligure, Magliolo, Giustenice and Tovo San Giacomo in the Maremola Creek area. The project included the creation of a specific website and an APP for Android/iOS

# GEMINI – health care software projects funded by the Public Health Dept. and Ministry of Education funded Universities’ And Research. GEMINI is an IT tool designed and developed for health services focused on surveillance, prevention, and control of infectious diseases. As of now it is deployed in the Piedmont Region and Emilia-Romagna Region (as S.M.I. application). It is a flexible tool enabling: Information flow management needed at the regional and national levels, and compliance with frequent updates; Development of regional special surveillances; Support for joint clinical investigation and prevention activities between “aziende sanitarie territoriali (Local Heatlh Dept.)” and hospitals. Gemini is developed using exclusively free and open source software and is released under Creative Commons by-nc-sa license; it’s been built in collaboration with medical staff and local public bodies. It is, as of today, an advanced system in terms of features, management, privacy, and accessibility.

# BESweb: Software for the management of the PDP (Personalized Learning Plan) and data collection for DSA pupils (Specific Learning Disorders) and other BES (Special Educational Needs). The “BESweb” software is born from the encounter between different subjects. The system integrates the management of the PDP and register queryable statistically of children with learning difficulties

# Emergency rooms: National repository of emergency room statistics. The data are gathered centrally from the original health authorisation agency and automatically sorted by time. Each ASL has customised access with username and password and, in addition to the statistics repository, also has an exchange1 folder with SEREMI central coordination.

# Heart attacks: Repository of heart attack statistics The data are gathered centrally from the original health authorisation agency and automatically sorted by time. # Prevalences: Database of prevalence studies on cases of hospital infections gathered in the Piedmont region. The SW allows registration of studies, customised categorisation, time and semantic searches and export.

# Suicide attempts: Distributed and management reference database for registration and follow-up of patients admitted to the emergency room with the collateral diagnosis of “suicide attempt”. The SW enables registration of admission data and manages follow-up at the local reference structures. Developed in collaboration with dr. Munizza and his work group

# Uro: Management system for screening, diagnosis and therapy follow-up of urology patients suffering from incontinence. Developed with the relative Piedmont Regional work group.

# Vaccine library: Database of epidemiological studies into vaccines and meta-analysis of these studies and systematic revisions. Developed in collaboration with the Cochrane Collaboration.

# Vaccination h1n1: Specific app for registration and elaboration of vaccination forms created during the flu pandemic in 2009. The software registers the forms containing the vaccination data, making them available for specific extraction and elaboration

Diciannove società cooperativa was established in 2005 as a social enterprise, and registered in the National Register for Cooperative Societies with number A170291.
Both members and collaborators of Diciannove has a huge experience in intervention within the social and educational field, with adults as well with youngsters, in various different issues such as intercultural integration, social inclusion, work-life balance, application of ICT tools to health, education and social policies.

Diciannove counts 10 associated members and a wide network of collaborators. Established in 2005 as an ICT cooperative company, it focuses on support for organizations active in social issues, and it operates mainly in Northern Italy, providing solutions to health and social departments in 3 regional Health Dept and to the National Ministry of Education.
The management of projects both at local, regional and European level is part of the core business as well, together with collaborations for educational and training centres to provide course in development and management of European projects.

Diciannove works with social co-operatives and NGOs on a regular basis and is experienced in the development and management of multinational projects on a wide variety of issues related to educational praxis, training on ICT and social matters, care-work and social interventions.
Diciannove is a member of the Italian e-learning society (www.sie-l.it).It has an on-going partnership with Ce@ -Centro E-Learning of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (www.cea.unimore.it).
Diciannove developed a close collaboration with different consultants such as psychologists, anthropologists and social workers that enrich its activities by bringing their specialised expertise in project management, EU funding opportunities, group leading, supervision.
Diciannove’s developers are experienced in software design, development, localization and deploy. The company is also an hosting provider and manages its own virtual Linux-based infrastructure.
